How to Reinstall TCP/IP in the Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating System?

Resolution :

Start >> Run >> C:\Windows\INF >> Locate the following file: NetTCPIP >> Right-click NetTCPIP and Click Install
restart your computer.

The TCP/IP files are now reinstalled and the registry settings for TCP/IP are now set to default.
