Problem : Internet Connectivity has Slow Performance and Loses Connectivity to the Internet.

Description : Users see intermittent internet disconnections and extremely slow performance, possibly even total disconnection.  This can be worse the longer the PC is connected directly to the cable/DSL modem.
If the computer is connected directly to a cable modem, the user will see intermittent internet disconnections and extremely slow performance, possibly even total disconnection.  This which will get worse the longer the PC is on, but will manifest in a few minutes. 
This issue is seen on customers systems that are using Dell Remote Access; the user can verify the issue by either stopping the “Advanced Networking Service” service. 
If a router sits between the PC and modem, the issue will not occur.

Solution: As a temporary workaround the customer can stop the Advanced Networking Service from services.msc  
   The other solution would be to advise the customer to place a router between the cable modem and PC, this will correct the issue as well.  Finally, any customers using DRA 1.0 and 1.1 can be advised to update to DRA 1.2 at
