Desktop wallpaper is all white & cannot be changed after removal of SpySherrif,  Vundo or other variants.

Resolution:

If the wallpaper cannot be reset normally in display properties, use the following steps:

Start >> Run >> Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Policies >> System
Delete the entry "Wallpaper.htm"
Exit regedit
Restart the computer
