Uninstall Additional Windows Components

To add additional (hidden) components to the Add/Remove Windows Components list

Start >> Run >> control folders >> view tab >> uncheck hide extensions for known file-types & click on show hidden files and folders
Start >> Run >> C:\windows\inf\Sysoc.inf
You will find several lines that include the word hide: xxxx=xxxx.dll,xxxx,xxxx.inf,hide,7
Remove the word hide, so that the line now reads: xxxx=xxxx.dll,xxxx,xxxx.inf,,7 (don't remove the comma's!)
Save the file, and close it
Start >> run >> appwiz.cpl or Start >> control panel >> add/remove programs >> add/remove windows components
