After installing the SBC Yahoo! DSL software. The computer would give a blue screen of death (BSOD) "STOP 0x0000007E".
Resolution :
Restart+F8 >> Safe mode (with networking)
Uninstall Visual IP Insight Agent from add / remove programs
or
Rename the file C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ipvnmon.sys to ipvnmon.sys.xxx
The user should be able to boot to the desktop.
