CD / DVD (Optical) Drive Issues.

[Upper Lower Filters]

Performs the following tasks.

1) It Deletes the Upper Lower Filters after Taking a Back up of the registry keys.

2) It has the feature to restore the deleted registry keys from the backed up registry keys.

3) Can Display manually on the screen which keys needs to deleted.

When Can this File be used ?

1) When the Optical(CD-R / CD-RW / DVD-RAM / CDRW-DVD / DVD-RW) Drive is not detected in My computer, the tray ejects, but you cannot see a cd/dvd icon in my computer.

2) If there is a bang(exclamation) with the optical drive in device manager.

3) In general, it can be used on every cd/dvd issues, because the entries that the program deletes(upper/lower) are not good for the computer and even if you delete there shouldn't be any harm done to the computer. On the contrary the performance of the drive should increase.(ability to transfer data from drive to computer, drive to drive, issues where drive displays erratic behaviour).

Please Note :

Always run/execute the file from the desktop.

In Vista, most important is that you run the program as an Administrator. do a right click on the program and click on Administrator.
